On March 17, a seminar dedicated to the development of business partnership with Turkmenistan will be held in Bucharest with the participation of the Embassy of Turkmenistan, Trend reports, referring to the chamber of Commerce and industry of Romania.

Participants of the seminar, including interested companies, will consider opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation in agriculture (production and sale of agricultural products, delivery of technologies and equipment to the food industry), digitalization and tourism.

The seminar will provide participants with complete information on economic issues, fiscal policy and the banking system of Turkmenistan.

According to the source, the diplomatic efforts of Ashgabat and Bucharest have intensified in recent years in creating the Caspian - Black sea transit corridor. It is expected that the sea port of Constanta in Romania will become a transit point for the transport of goods sent from the port of Turkmenbashi to Europe. Thus, Turkmenistan and Central Asian countries that transport their goods along this corridor will have access to European markets.

With special containers, the cargo will pass by water from the port of Turkmenbashi to Baku, then by rail to Georgia-the port of Poti or Batumi, and from there to Romania, again by water.
