The diplomatic mission of the Indian Ambassador to Turkmenistan is coming to an end

Today, the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India Azar Abul Hasan Khan, who is completing his diplomatic mission in our country.

The Turkmen side expressed gratitude to the Ambassador for his personal contribution to the development of Turkmen-Indian relations. During the meeting, issues of cooperation in the fields of transport, energy and economy were discussed. The role of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline, which will serve as a bridge connecting Central and South Asia, was highlighted.

The parties noted the need to expand Turkmen-Indian cooperation in the agricultural sector and in the chemical industry.

Attention was also paid to issues of interaction in the cultural and humanitarian sphere. In particular, the importance of cooperation in the fields of science, culture and education, health, tourism and sports, and modern information and communication technologies was emphasized.
