Anton Gass, Deputy Director of the Berlin Museum of ancient and early history of the Federal Republic of Germany, and Schmidt Raimann Philip Sebastian, head of the restoration workshop of the same Museum, were on a working visit to the State Museum of the State cultural center of Turkmenistan to exchange experience in the field of restoration work.

During the visit, a conference was held at the Museum, where experts from Germany and employees of Turkmen museums were able to discuss a number of professional issues. German experts also spoke about the success of the exhibition "Margiana-the Kingdom of the bronze age on the territory of Turkmenistan", which was organized in the Federal Republic of Germany.

Within the framework of the conference, theoretical and practical classes were held by employees of the Berlin Museum of ancient and early history with their Turkmen colleagues-restorers on the following topics: careful storage of historical values, world experience in restoration, prevention of damage, and storage of archaeological values.

During the meetings, some ceramic and bronze items from the archaeological repository of the State Museum were restored as master classes.
