The meeting of the Turkmen-Hungarian Commission for economic cooperation was held in Budapest

The fourth meeting of the intergovernmental Turkmen-Hungarian Commission on economic cooperation was held in Budapest, Hungary. it was attended by heads and representatives of leading ministries and industry departments, as well as representatives of business circles of the two countries, the website of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.

The parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation, including the development of the digital economy, multilateral economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation. They also discussed issues of comprehensive partnership in the field of industry, transport, communications, education, health and other areas of cooperation.

Following the meeting of the Commission, a number of agreements and the minutes of the fourth session of the Commission were signed, as well as priority directions of the interstate dialogue for the upcoming period were determined.

The Commission held a Turkmen-Hungarian business forum, which was attended by dozens of Turkmen and Hungarian entrepreneurs, as well as bilateral meetings between representatives of Hungarian companies and members of the Union of Industrialists and entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.

Following the talks, the parties agreed to hold the fifth session of the Commission in 2021 in Turkmenistan.
