Turkmenistan's tourism industry represented at Ferien-Messe Wien

From January 16 to 19, Vienna (Austria) hosts the annual International Tourism Fair Ferien-Messe Wien, where more than 800 representatives of the tourism business from 80 countries take part.

Traditionally, the tourism industry of Turkmenistan is represented here. The participation of the Turkmen delegation was supported by the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan and the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Austria.

The exposition of Turkmenistan was decorated with banners and photo panels informing about folk traditions, nature, sights, historical monuments, listed in the UNESCO intangible heritage, urban planning in Ashgabat. The informational part of the exposition was supplemented by video materials and informational publications devoted to tourism in Turkmenistan.

The Turkmen delegation, within the framework of the exhibition, holds meetings with representatives of travel agencies of Austria, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Poland and several other countries participating in the forum. As a result, the parties agreed to sign agreements with such travel companies as Klaus und die Welt Reisebüro, Off Roadowa. In addition, an agreement was reached with representatives of the tourism sector of the Czech Republic to organize advanced training courses for Turkmen specialists, the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.

During the event, visitors had the opportunity to get acquainted with the cultural events on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan, planned in our country and abroad.
