Today, the Deputy Foreign Minister met with the head of the regional Office of the United Nations office on drugs and crime (UNODC), Ms. Ashitta Mittal, at the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The Turkmen side expressed gratitude to the regional representative of UNODC for accepting the invitation to participate in the International conference "Turkmenistan and international organizations: cooperation for peace and development", dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan and the active participation of representatives of UNODC in various international events held in our country.
Noting the effectiveness of bilateral cooperation, they discussed the possibility of holding various events jointly by the government of Turkmenistan and UNODC.
The sides also exchanged views on further expansion of cooperation between Turkmenistan and UNODC, the website of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.
