The organizer of the competition is the Royal horticultural society (Great Britain), which intends to support and show beautiful photographs dedicated to plants and gardening.
Everyone is invited to participate, regardless of the level of professionalism, age and citizenship.
The contest has 9 nominations, according to which photos are accepted:
Singing about gardens (from flowers to people who enjoy the garden)
The wildlife garden (insects, birds and animals of the garden)
All about plants (focus on the plant or plants)
Abstraction (imagination and originality, image manipulation and graphic processing are welcome)
Urban gardening (plants in an urban environment)
From 11 to 17 years (any photos dedicated to the theme of the competition)
Up to 11 years (any photos dedicated to the contest theme)
Facebook Instagram social media (any photos dedicated to the contest topic sent via Twitter, Instagram or Facebook accounts using the hashtag #RHSphotocomp)
Portfolio (series of 6 photos)
The file size must not exceed 4 MB. Contestants need to send an application and photo works through the official website of the competition. Entries are accepted until March 2, 2020.
Prizes:
The winner in the adult categories will receive £ 5,000.
The winner in the children's categories will receive vouchers WexPhotographic for 750 pounds.
The first, second and third place in each category is awarded with prizes.
