President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited the international Akhal-Teke equestrian complex, where he met with members of the group of national equestrian games "Galkynysh" and got acquainted with the process of their training, according to the state news Agency of Turkmenistan.
At the entrance to the covered arena, the head of state was greeted by the Chairman of the Mejlis, Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of military and law enforcement agencies.
The indoor arena is a place for training of members of the national equestrian games "Galkynysh", which is widely known not only in our country, but also far beyond its borders.
As you know, the international Akhal-Teke equestrian sports complex has all the conditions for various types of equestrian sports, competitions of international level, as well as for keeping horses in accordance with high modern requirements.
There are all opportunities for training equestrians, including a special arena for training of the group of national equestrian games "Galkynysh".
In addition, for horse breeders, riders and specialized specialists in township "Kyarizek" of Geoktepe district of Akhal velayat built comfortable village Aba Annayev. Horse breeders who live here with their families are grateful to the head of state for creating conditions for a prosperous life and creative work.
At the initiative of the President of the country, it was also decided to open a new Institute of horse breeding.
The famous team "Galkynysh", created in 2007 on the initiative of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, is a multiple winner of international shows and world festivals of circus art.
Speaking about the glory of the Akhal-Teke people, which is increasing today, it should be noted the uniqueness of this breed of horses. Akhal-Teke horses, considered one of the oldest breeds, have distinctive features, which indicates the perfection of national horse-breeding traditions and the experience of the Turkmen riders.
Under the leadership of President of Turkmenistan for a short time in the country was dramatically modernized the logistical base of the equine industry, much has been done to improve conditions of work and life professionals who devoted his life to the profession.
All this testifies to the huge honor rendered to "Paradise" horses and horse breeders on the Turkmen land-the historical homeland of the Akhal-Teke breed, which not only enriched the world horse breeding, but preserved in the pure-bred form among the Turkmens.
Today special attention is paid to issues of horse trainers, breeding Akhal-Teke horses, the activation of different types of equestrian sport, which, along with the improvement the unique beauty of the Akhal-Teke, promote further development of national equestrian sports. The effective participation of the President of Turkmenistan in this work increases the glory of Turkmen horses in the world.
In this regard, it should be noted and successful performances of representatives of domestic equestrian sports at international competitions.
Stressing the special role of the group of national equestrian games "Galkynysh" in the glorification of "Paradise" horses in the world, the Turkmen leader spoke with members of this team.
As the head of state said, he arrived at the equestrian complex specifically to meet with members of the group and get acquainted with their work. Congratulating the team on the upcoming New year, the President of Turkmenistan noted with satisfaction that "Galkynysh" carries out a great work on the development of the Turkmen horse-breeding art, performs complex tricks on the magnificent Akhal-Teke horses.
Since its foundation, the group has improved its work and strengthened its material and technical base. Noting the merits of the team, which is the owner of the high title of laureate and winner of international tournaments, the President stressed that the skill of the group members, their great success play a stimulating role in the development of horse breeding in our country, awaken the love of young people for sports, horses, contribute to the continuity of horse-breeding traditions of the people.
The state, the Turkmen leader continued, pays great attention to the development of equestrian sports. In this area, large-scale work is being carried out to increase the fame of Akhal-Teke horses, increase their livestock, and popularize the national equestrian sport.
Great celebrations are being held for the glory of Turkmen horses, the President said, noting that large-scale work on the further development of horse breeding and the industry as a whole will continue in the future.
In recent years, the group of equestrian games "Galkynysh" has achieved great success. Only in 2019, she was invited to perform in Bahrain and in the people's Republic of China. This fact is a vivid evidence of the huge interest in the Turkmen horses and the national riding school, which has received a new impetus to development.
Members of the group expressed their gratitude to the President, and the youngest riders read poems.
Noting the contribution of the team to the glorification of Akhal-Teke horses in the world, the head of state congratulated the riders of "Galkynysh" on the coming New year, wished them great success in improving their skills and presented them with holiday gifts.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also asked about the life of a young family formed in the team "Galkynysh", whose wedding was a memorable event in the life of the group. It was reported that the couple had two children. The President also gave them personalized new year's gifts.
Then the Turkmen leader handed the group "Galkynysh" a reward of 50 thousand US dollars for outstanding achievements.
A wonderful gift for equestrians was the disk with the song of the head of state "Rovach". As you know, the horse, named by the head of state as Rovach, was born in early 2019. The President gave this horse to the group of national horse games "Galkynysh" and dedicated a song to him when he was still a colt.
The head of the group of national equestrian games "Galkynysh" P.Bayramdurdiyev on behalf of the team expressed gratitude to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for the opportunities created in the country to increase the number of horses, carrying out high-level work on horse training.
Then, having presented to the head of state a new horse in the group with the symbolic name “Ak Yol”, the head of the team addressed the Turkmen leader with a request to ride a horse around the arena.
Taking the reins of this light-colored steed, the President walked a little with him, and then saddled the horse “Ak Yol” (which means Light road). These moments inspired the Turkmen leader on the metaphorical strings to the wishes of the native people light the way along the white roads.
The head of state made several rounds on the horse around the arena, the “Ak Yol” performed several exercises under the control of the rider. At this moment, the music began to play, and the horse, to its rhythm, began to accelerate, demonstrating their skills, natural grace and sensitive understanding with the rider.
Then, wishing the members of the group further great success, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has left for the scene.
