From the first days of the country's leadership, the respected President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov clearly defined the priority of his policy to care for his people, marking steps to new heights of progress in the name of happiness and well-being of the Turkmen people. Today, Turkmenistan is one of the most dynamically developing countries on the planet. This is evidenced by the rapidly growing Ashgabat, where a large-scale urban development program is being implemented.
Huge funds are being invested in the development of the Turkmen capital and its borders are being expanded. In recent years, white marble Ashgabat has been decorated with entire quarters of beautiful architectural ensembles and structures. Some of them, as well as Ashgabat itself – as a city with the highest concentration of white marble buildings in the world – are included in the prestigious Guinness book of records, which is the pride of every Turkmen.
In the near future, the Turkmen capital will be decorated with new buildings-a complex of buildings of the International Congress center, a fashionable hotel, administrative offices of the State Commercial Bank "Turkmenbashy" and Joint-stock commercial Bank "Senagat", which will rise along Chandybil Avenue, the government tribune along Kopetdag Avenue. Much attention is also paid to the modernization of road transport infrastructure, the construction of new highways that meet international standards, bridges, underground and surface crossings, stops, multi-lane ring roads, car parks, and housing construction.
The implementation of the 16th stage of development of our capital, rightly called the true "pearl" of Asia, is in full swing. A large residential complex on Makhtumkuli Avenue includes ten 12-storey 72-apartment and six 12-storey 48-apartment residential buildings. Within the walls of comfortable "high-rises" of four types will be located 442 three-room, 382 four-room and 184 five-room apartments, designed for 1008 families. It provides solutions to aesthetic and environmental aspects, improvement of adjacent territories, the creation of the necessary social and household, engineering and transport and communication infrastructure.
According to the recommendations of the head of state, along with residential "high-rises" in Ashgabat, houses are being built and smaller floors, including cottage type, which allows citizens to choose housing at will. In recent years, thousands of Ashgabat families have become owners of housing.
The main city of the country has embodied a unique model of a dynamically developing city-the city of the future. The mega-project that specialists are working on today - "Ashgabat city "belongs to the category of "smart city" with high quality and standard of living. Management here will be carried out through the introduction of advanced digital and engineering solutions, which will be reflected in the effective organization of the urban economy, including the use of solar energy, the system for collecting precipitation and using it for watering lawns. Solar panels will be installed on each building of "Ashgabat-city", new technologies will be applied to regulate traffic flows on the roads, recycled water supply, as well as digital models of public utilities management.
Today, the city-planning projects of the Hero Arkadag, aimed at taking care of the well-being of the native people, raising the standard of living of compatriots, creating the best social and living conditions, are impressive in their scope and splendor, which is a real embodiment of the slogan "The State is for man!".
The capital of Turkmenistan is the center of attraction for foreign tourists and travelers who want to get acquainted with the rich historical and cultural heritage of the Turkmen people, its modern achievements. There are all conditions for holding major events of international character and worthy reception of foreign guests, the number of which is constantly growing.
