First meeting of heads of Internal Affairs Bodies of the capitals of the CIS member States was held in Tashkent

According to UzA news agency, the Tashkent working meeting was attended by high-ranking police- Internal Affairs officers from the capitals of the CIS member states, including Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. The meeting was also attended by the responsible officers of the Bureau for the coordination of the fight against organized crime and other dangerous types of crimes on the territory of the CIS member States.

The purpose of the meeting in this format is to strengthen and develop cooperation between the Metropolitan police and the internal affairs bodies of the CIS member states.

The initiative of such a meeting was put forward by Pulat Bobozhonov, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan at a meeting of Ministers of Internal Affairs of the CIS member states. This initiative was supported by the Bureau for the coordination of the fight against organized crime and other dangerous crimes in the territory of the CIS member states.
