The delegation of Turkmenistan took part in the 2nd international import exhibition "Joint future in a new era" in Shanghai (China), the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan reported.
According to the information, the delegation of Turkmenistan included representatives of ministries, departments, in particular, trade, industry and communications, textiles, agriculture, the state commodity exchange, logistics and chemical industry, whose products were exhibited in the national pavilion.
The exhibition pavilion of our country with a total area of 136 square meters was decorated in a distinctive and modern style. Numerous guests of the exhibition got acquainted with the trade and economic, investment and historical and cultural potential of Turkmenistan.
The Turkmen delegation met with potential Chinese partners during the exhibition. During the talks, an exchange of views was held, which allowed getting a broad understanding of the trends and needs of the markets of the two countries, as well as to open additional opportunities for the development of business ties.
According to the source, the events held from November 5-11 were attended by heads of state and government from 155 countries and regions of the world, as well as 26 international organizations and more than 3,890 companies, who visited the trade and investment pavilion, where more than 64 countries presented their development achievements and original products, 24 of which debuted at the exhibition site.
