The state and prospects for the development of mutually beneficial Turkmen-Danish relations in all areas of cooperation were discussed during the political consultations held in Copenhagen at the level of Deputy foreign Ministers of the delegations of Denmark and Turkmenistan.
According to the Turkmen Foreign Ministry, the sides noted the special importance of deepening cooperation between Turkmenistan and Denmark in the political, diplomatic, financial, banking, cultural and humanitarian fields. The diplomats also focused on the regional and international agenda, cooperation between the two countries within the framework of international organizations, primarily the UN, the EU, and the OSCE.
As part of the working visit of the delegation of Turkmenistan to Copenhagen in the building of the Confederation of Danish industry, a meeting was held with the leading representatives of this organization and a number of companies that are part of it, such as export credit Agency Eksport Kredit Fonden (EKF), Investment Fund for developing countries (IFU) , AVK International A/S, FLSmidth , Furuno Danmark A/S and others. The parties discussed the possibility of establishing contacts between the business communities of the two countries, as well as the prospects of doing business by Danish companies in Turkmenistan.
The economic situation and investment climate in Turkmenistan, the possibility of financing Danish exports to our country and financing projects with the participation of Danish capital became a separate topic of discussion. The parties also noted the expediency of establishing direct contacts between the Confederation of Danish industry and the Union of Industrialists and entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.
