Events on adaptation of disabled people through sports 7-17 October 2019 in Turkmenistan. The athlete of “Sportable” Zach Zomermaand gave interview to special correspondent of “Turkmenportal” at Olimp hotel of Capital.
- Mr. Zomermaand how was the game today?
- It was a lot of fun and there was a new experience for me but it was a great time interacting and exchanging a lot of practices. Athletes from Turkmenistan and it was a great time meeting everyone.
- How were your preparations for the game?
- So, we showed up, they demonstrated how to play. We got to learn all the rules, we had to meet everybody. It was a really great time. A lot of us were jumping, we didn’t really keep score, we did it just for fun.
- How would you comment the preparations of Turkmenistan team?
- It’s a lot of preparations and yeah, and that’s true.
- How did you find Ashgabat?
- I love it. It’s very beautiful, clean and amazing city. Everybody here is very welcoming. It’s been a very positive experience so far. I’d love it so far.
- So, what would you like to express to the Turkmenistan’s volleyball team?
- They were great host today; we had a great time with them. I look forward to continuing to interact with them throughout the next week in hotel and I would like to report to exchanging ideas with each other on how we can continue to improve with that.
