The organizing Committee of the 2022 winter Olympics in Beijing presented the official mascot of the Games, it was a Panda bear named Bin Dven Dven, Interfax reports.
"With an ice suit, a heart of gold and a love for all winter sports, this Panda is ready to share the true spirit of the Olympics with the world," the press service of the organizing Committee said.
The XXIV Winter Olympic games will be held from 4 to 20 February 2022. On July 31, 2015, at the session of the International Olympic Committee in Kuala Lumpur, Beijing was named the capital of the Olympic games, which will be the first city to host both the summer and winter Olympic games. The Paralympics will be held there from 4 to 13 March. The mascot of the 2022 Paralympics was a child flashlight.
