Today, the Ministry of foreign Affairs held a briefing on the adoption by the UN General Assembly Resolution "2021 the international year of peace and trust" initiated by the President of Turkmenistan and published in the official languages of the UN the Final Statement of the Caspian economic forum, as an official document of the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly, according to the State news Agency of Turkmenistan.
The briefing was attended by heads of diplomatic missions and missions of Turkmenistan abroad, heads and employees of embassies and representative offices of international organizations working in Turkmenistan, representatives of local and foreign media accredited in the country, political scientists.
According to the information, the speeches referred to the unanimous adoption at the 73rd session of the General Assembly of the United Nations by member States of the Resolution "2021-the international year of peace and confidence", put forward by Turkmenistan.
The practical implementation of this idea, put forward by the Turkmen leader, is designed to give a new impetus to international cooperation in order to develop concrete measures to reduce tension, peaceful, political and diplomatic settlement of disputes and contradictions, overcome the crisis of trust and mutual understanding, and consolidate peace in the world.

Another topic of comment was the publication in the official languages of the UN of the Final Statement of the Caspian economic forum. The speakers stressed that the holding of this Forum in August this year in the national tourist zone "Avaza" was clear evidence of the significant role of neutral Turkmenistan in strengthening international and regional cooperation.
