Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov discussed issues of bilateral cooperation by phone today.
According to the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry, the parties praised the results of the first Caspian economic forum, which was held on August 11-12 this year in Turkmenbashi.
The foreign Ministers of the two countries also exchanged views on the preparations for the meeting of the Council of heads of state of the Commonwealth of the Independent States, which will be held on October 11 in Ashgabat.
