At a press conference held today in Ashgabat, head coach of the four-time champion of Vietnam, Hanoi FC Chu Dinh Nghiem shared his expectation of the upcoming return match of the AFC Cup 2019 semi-final against Turkmenistan's Altyn Asyr, which will be held on August 27 at Kopetdag Stadium.

– What are your impressions after the first game with FC Altyn Asyr in Vietnam?

– Firstly, let me say, that was good, interesting and high-quality game. One thing is Hanoi FC had many chances, but they could not realize all opportunities.

– How do you think, how many chances does Hanoi FC have to come to the next level of competition?

– After first leg, we had an advantage, but it is not like a big advantage. Tomorrow’s match will be 50:50 percent for both teams. At the AFC Cup we try our all the best to go as far as we can. If we can rich higher level this is good for Vietnam football.

– How is the preparation of the team and is there any injured players?

– After a long trip, this will be difficult for us. The weather is also different. All the players, not the 100% ready yet. About injured players, the player under "15" number cannot play tomorrow.

– How many foreign players will play in Ashgabat and which countries they are from?

– We have three foreigner players. One of them France, one from Senegal and another one from Uganda.

– How long do they play in Hanoi FC foreign players?

– The player from Uganda plays over than three years already. The player from Senegal just started the new season in Hanoi FC. The player from France just started the second part of season only.

– The first game we saw Hanoi FC was openly and aggressively attacking and the match was for Hanoi FC. Do you think they can do the same game tomorrow or you will play more defensively?

– After first leg we have an advantage, but not big. So, tomorrow will be a very difficult game, but we still keep the way we play. Because this is our style to play. After the first game, we have some experiences about how to play with the home team. We will try to fix the mistakes which we got before, but anyway we will play fair play and good football.

– How much do you worry for results tomorrow’s game with FC Altyn Asyr?

– To play in another country always difficult. I worry about fans tomorrow. Because the home team has amazing fans, which will be pressure for our players. The home team plays at home and they can be stronger than there. We think the home team will play a different style than the first match, this will be difficult for us.

– Which kind of missions had Hanoi FC, before starting to AFC Cup?

– Our mission was before to win in a group of AFC Cup, and we did that. But now we have a big target, we have an advantage and we have chance qualify to the next level. We will try all the best to go as far as we can.

– How many players represent the Vietnam national football team?

– We have many players who play for the Vietnam national team before and present time. But now we have 8 players representative national football team of Vietnam.

– In Vietnam championship matches the captain of the team under "10" number injured. Can he play tomorrow or not?

– In the first match with FC Altyn Asyr, the captain of the team got an injury and played only 35 minutes. For tomorrow’s game, he is ready maybe 70-80%. Maybe he can play tomorrow.
