A strict reprimand was announced "with the last warning about correcting the shortcomings as soon as possible", the Decree signed by the President of Turkmenistan says.
Signing this document during the government meeting, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that recently at the state level special attention is paid to the tasks of modernization of the material and technical base of the Agency by equipping with new modifications of passenger vehicles. The leader of the nation stressed that the measures taken to improve the activities of enterprises in the industry should improve the quality and level of services provided.
Despite the regular nature of the work carried out, there are specific facts of weakening control over the smooth movement of city buses, the head of Turkmenistan continued. Thus, in the current summer season, there were cases of violations of the established schedules of public transport, the leader of the nation said, demanding an immediate correction of the situation.
In connection with the beginning of the new academic year, the head of state ordered to take effective measures to properly regulate the movement of buses so that schoolchildren and students could get to educational institutions in a timely manner. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said that an indispensable requirement is also to increase the culture of service and compliance with international standards of public transport services.
Noting the wide scope of construction works currently underway in the capital, the leader of the nation ordered to study the organization of transport services for employees of foreign and domestic construction companies, including the possibility of renting buses on the basis of relevant contracts.
