The construction of new settlements in Lebap, Mary and Dashoguz regions will start on June 26-28. This was stated by President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held in Ashgabat.
Speaking about the priority of the task of ensuring a prosperous life of the people, the head of state noted that in Ahal and Balkan regions they had already begun to build new settlements. This work will continue.
Earlier it was reported that the construction projects of modern settlements are designed for the residence of 3,500 families. In residential buildings with garden plots, all conditions that meet the requirements of the time will be provided. At the same time, schools equipped with advanced equipment, kindergartens, cultural institutions, shopping centers, administrative, public and other social facilities will be built. In addition, the construction of one-, two-, and four-storey houses is envisaged in these settlements.
