In Bucharest, the Embassy of Turkmenistan held a round table discussion on the Caspian Economic Forum

The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Romania, together with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the country, organized a round table entitled “Perspectives for Cooperation in the Caspian Sea”, dedicated to the first Caspian Economic Forum, which will be held on August 12 in the Avaza National Tourist Zone, the official website of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry reports. 

The event was attended by leaders and employees of foreign diplomatic missions accredited in Bucharest, employees of ministries and departments of Romania, representatives of state companies, the Romanian business community, foreign companies, representatives of Romanian universities, the local public and the media.

The holding of the first Caspian Economic Forum contributes to ensuring further prosperity, stability and security in the region, the meeting participants noted in their speeches. They also noted the need to develop economic cooperation with the countries of the region in the transport and energy sectors, the report says.
