Today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of our country held a meeting to discuss the concept of the proposed project between the UN and the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Turkmenistan “Improving the social protection system by introducing inclusive high-quality social services at the local level” within the framework of the UN Global Fund for Sustainable Development Goals, official website of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry reports.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the leadership of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, as well as the ministries of foreign affairs, labor and social protection of the population, health and medical industry, education, internal affairs, finance and economy of Turkmenistan.
Key components of the project, including the improvement of the necessary social services to vulnerable groups of the population, were considered during the meeting. And the implementation of this project will contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals in the country, reflected in the Program of the President of Turkmenistan on the socio-economic development of the country for 2019-2025, the information says.
