Turkmen athlete Bagul Nuryeva won a silver medal in the weight category up to 48 kg at the Asian Cup in judo among cadets and youth in honor of the honorary president of the Judo Federation of Kazakhstan Beket Makhmutov, the press service of the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan reports.
At the competitions held in Almaty, 224 cadets from 6 countries, as well as 86 young athletes from 7 countries took part. Competitions were divided into two days, according to age categories.
The first place in the category up to 48 kg was won by athlete Kimyo Marasulova from Uzbekistan. On the second - our compatriot Bagul Nuryeva. On the third - Anastasia Kuterina (Russia) and Zhanerke Askarova (Kazakhstan).
