With a weighty victory, Turkmen schoolchildren returned to the next scientific and intellectual competition - participants of the 8th International Olympiad of Young Inventors - Malaysian International Young Inventors Olympiad-2019, which was held in Kedah (Malaysia). On account of our compatriots - 26 medals of various denominations, the newspaper Neutral Turkmenistan reports.
The Turkmen team of young inventors showed one of the best results, worthy of defending a record number of victories in serious competition with peers from ten countries. In total, almost six hundred students from Turkmenistan, Thailand, Indonesia, Tajikistan, Iraq, Nigeria, the USA, Kyrgyzstan, the Philippines, and Malaysia itself became participants in the Olympiad.
Aysoltan Redzhepova, Khangeldy Atajanov, Ayjahan Kulkhanova and Jennetgul Nuryagdyeva from Ashgabad, and also Ore Sukhanov from Kunyaurgench of Dashoguz region and Kurbanmurat Kurbanov from Turkmenabat won six gold awards.
And six medals, this time silver were awarded to Davud Garryev, Baki Uraev, Silap Silapov from Ashgabat, Arazmuhammet Atayev, Kerim Chariyev and Resul Orazgeldiyev - respectively high school students from special schools of the city of Dashoguz, Turkmenabat and Mary.
All other fourteen participants of the Turkmen national team won bronze medals of the Olympiad. Among them are representatives of the State Boarding School for especially gifted children, special schools No. 86 of the city of Ashgabat, a number of schools in Dashoguz, Mary and Lebap provinces.
The competition was held in the format of interactive presentations and protection of author rationalization proposals in several categories. The projects of the Turkmen schoolchildren were carried out in the context of such educational subjects and scientific fields as chemistry, physics, ecology and environmental protection, biotechnology, robotics and others.
