Today the 5th round of Football Championship of Turkmenistan 2019 launched by two matches in Ashgabat and the city of Turkmenbashi.
In the capital, FC Kopetdag hosted FC Ashgabat in its stadium. Having won - 2:1, FC Kopetdag moved to the third line in the standings. FC Ashgabat, in turn, remained in last place.
Another match of the 5th round was held in Turkmenbashi, where the local FC Shagadam met with FC Ahal. The fate of the meeting was decided by the only goal scored in the 57th minute by the FC Ahal forward Didar Durdyyev. Thus, having won with the score 1:0, the mentees of Rovshen Meredov strengthened their position on the first line of the tournament table. They have four victories in four fights. The FC Shagadam, which is on the second position, has 5 points less.
